The history of the Larose Forest began in 1928 when agronomist Ferdinand Larose began work on the first conifer plantation on abandoned farms near Bourget.
The Larose Forest is now owned and managed by the United Counties of Prescott and Russell Corporation. This natural site is located south of the village of Bourget. It is located about 50 km east of Ottawa and covers more than 11,000 hectares.
You will have the opportunity to enjoy many outdoor activities throughout the year. Mountain biking, hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are just some of the possibilities.
